In my opinion… Young people for a green future!

The mood of the photo shoot was wonderful because of the locally created artwork, and the whole atmosphere was magical as we worked with the children as the crew was bringing their ideas to life. This way they could brainstorm ideas and even draw as they like. This process resulted in unique and individual creations, and it was amazing to see how these youngsters’ personalities and thoughts became one with the images.

We had only three days to take 55 pictures, which meant that not only our crew had to follow a tight schedule, but also the children and the parents accompanying them. However, it was an unforgettable experience for everyone. We have prepared a well-planned script and developed an efficient workflow to ensure a smooth process.

After finalizing the concept, we sent the selected works to Zsuzsa Holczapfel, an award winning graphic designer, who prepared 55 illustration sketches based on the stories. Our aim was to find a way to embody the stories with graphics that are easy to interpret and we wanted the imagery and technique to reflect the beauty and the special atmosphere of drawings and thoughts of children. The fact that Zsuzsa also is working as a teacher came in very handy.

On the first day of the shoot the crew arrived 3 hours before the actual shoot started, in order to prepare the location, set up the plexiglass and finalize the composition of the photos . Thanks to our precise preparation, we managed to keep to the schedule.

The children could see the raw footage as it was being shot, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at a photoshoot in the studio. We were in ongoing consultation with our client’s representatives to ensure that each photo embodied its intended purpose and fit the company’s image.

We had an amazing time with APPLiA, and it was a pleasure working with them on their visual content for their campaign 2020. We have wrapped up an amazing 3-day photo shoot. It was very inspiring to see how much the children and their parents enjoyed their time on set.

Several families have traveled more than 4 hours to be onsite. What an incredible experience it was to work with these kids. It was clear from the submitted works that the children are more interested and engaged in the idea of a greener future than one might think, as they are particularly concerned.
