BORD Architectural Studio – Corporate Portraits

Following the discussions, we developed a concept: a clean visual image that subtly, in en elegant way, pushes the boundaries of genre. Instead of the classic “business” portrait cut-out, we designed full-body compositions. We also complemented the portraits with different types of design chairs. Finally, we envisioned an “infinite” white backdrop, created with the help of Sidelight photo studio’s coving and professional lighting technology. As a result, the portraits’ backgrounds blend perfectly with the website, providing a visual experience without borders.

The portrait shoot followed a well-planned schedule and workflow. We have worked together with a professional make-up artist, which enhanced the exclusivity of the shoot and contributed to set the mood, so that as our clients got in front of the camera, they felt comfortable and looked great.

During the shoot, we gave everyone time to relax and feel right at home in the set. We took portraits of everyone in several settings, which were immediately visible on the spot thanks to our control monitors.

The staff of BORD brought great energy, they were all very positive and motivated, which made for a very good atmosphere and an inspirational photo shoot that translates well to the photos.

Within a week after the photo shoot, we finished the post-production and retouching of the portraits. The result is a series of 30 individual portraits, with unique images, that yet come together as a coherent series due to the well synchronized post-processing and style. It was a pleasure and inspiring to collaborate with a company where precision meets creative ideas.
